Turf (fescue/bluegrass) lawns can be finicky and require a lot of input. Fertilizer, overseeding, mowing, weed control, and leaf clean-up add to quite a yearly investment in time and resources.
Native landscaping can be delicate to establish but requires much less input in the long term.
