Driftwood Tree & Landcare

We offer full-service tree work at an affordable price

It’s not easy being a tree in Nebraska. Harsh winters, scorching summers, and high winds provide a challenge even for the right trees in the right places. Whether it is risk reduction, storm damage clean-up, canopy thinning, complete removal, stump grinds, or just a fresh layer of mulch we are here to help.

What is Landcare?

  • Carefully selected plants that are longtime residents of out prairie ecosystems.

  • Turf (fescue/bluegrass) lawns can be finicky and require a lot of input. Fertilizer, overseeding, mowing, weed control, and leaf clean-up add to quite a yearly investment in time and resources.

Native landscaping can be delicate to establish but requires much less input in the long term.

  • Plants that provide ecological services such as host plants for insects or pollinators, soil stabilization, and cover for wildlife.

  • We offer complete landscape overhauls with a mindful design, preparation of the site, planting, and initial maintenance. Or we can help with any step of that process that you may be in, even if all you need is a bit of guidence.
